Texas Blessings has been privileged to be host family or area representative to about dozen students from around the globe.

Chalotorn Fooklin (Aum), an aspriring veterinary medicine student from Bangkok, Thailand, spent her entire junior year living at the ranch, attending horse shows, and helping care for the animals.  Aum was a real joy to have around, and we miss her terribly. (center in photos at right)

NaHee Yang from South Korea (left in photos) came to us for a few weeks her Sophomore year. NaHee had never been around animals and being at the ranch really changed her perspective.  She had eaten some species commonly kept for companions in the States before, but had never experienced living with them as companions, and was very surprised at their intelligence and ability to interact with humans.

Luyda Suskina (at right) from Siberia, Russia expressed how pleased she was that the Cold War between the U.S. and old U.S.S.R. had ended so that she was able to come here and be a student ambassador and learn about our people and culture.
